Let's try again!

Ok, I'm gonna try keeping this up again! We'll see how I do, wish me luck!

Well, lots has happened since Christmas time. Taylor took her 1st steps on Jan 9 :), and is walking everywhere now! She's discovered that the drawers in the bathroom pullout and that they're fun to climb in. Luckily, she can only get into the bottom one for now. We're really glad about that. My family is coming down on Sunday for Taylor's birthday. (Her birthday is actually on Friday for those of you who don't know) My dad will only be able to stay for a few days because he's gotta go back to work, my mom and Laura will stay for a week, and Cynthia will be living with us! YAY! :) I'm so excited that I'm going to have family around! We have Dillion's family and the Call's, which of course we love them all, but it'll be nice to have my little sister. :) Dillion's been working on Taylor's room, which Cynthia will stay in until we can finish decorating it and then we'll move Taylor from the spare bedroom into there and Cyn into the spare bedroom. We've got a lot done, but time flew by too fast, so Dillion's been working in there every spare moment he has so we can at least get in primed before everyone gets here.

I know I already posted this picture, but this is so if you want to see it bigger since the pics don't enlarge when clicked on. :( Taylor did really good with Santa. The picture lady wouldn't let her look at him cuz she thought he'd scare her. Then one of the guys tried getting her to smile, but she didn't until she looked over at her mommy. :) After the pics, the lady tried taking Taylor from Santa and he told her, "hold on, let's see what she thinks", and he looked at Taylor who looked at him and was totally fine. :)

This is Taylor's 1st time at the wharf in Monterey, CA. She really liked watching the birds fight over the popcorn. July 2008

While on vacation (7/6/08), Cheyenne got a pretend princess cd player. We put it on Taylor to see what she thought of it. :)

Here we go!

Merry Christmas! Ok, I'm finally actually starting our blog so all of you can keep up with the going ons of the Long Family! Well, by now as I'm sure you know, Taylor's here. And has been for almost 10 months. :) She is the sweetest baby anyone could ask for. She is always in such a good mood and has a smile ready. Sure, she has her bad days, but honestly, who doesn't? Dillion is still working at US Synthetic as a lead operator. He really likes his job and is hoping to be able to move up soon. Keep your fingers crossed! He loves his daughter and thinks she's the neatest thing and can't wait to come home each day to see her, and me of course:). I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with our baby girl and see all the crazy things she does. Like trying to eat drill bits and such. The things babies do. LOL. Dillion and I are den leaders for the wolf scouts. That's for boys who are 8 for those of you who aren't in with the scouting world. For those who know me, I grew up with 2 sisters, and while we could be gross and obnoxious, it was nothing compared to little boys. I have no idea what to do with them! But, they're a lot of fun and now that we're getting the hang of this scouting thing it's been lots more fun for them I hope. Well, that's all I have for now, hope you all are doing great!

Welcome!

Here's our new site to keep everyone updated on the exciting life of the Long family! Come back often to see all the new exciting happenings going on with us! Once Taylor gets here, I'm sure there will be tons more pictures and things since I'm sure she will be much cuter and interesting than me and Dillion. :)
